As Sustainable Projects Coordinator for Shambala, Henry‘s role entails researching, creating and implementing the overall sustainability strategy for the festival, as well as overseeing all onsite initiatives. Whether he’s working with our food traders to help them meet stringent sustainable practice guidelines or making sure our Recycling Exchange operates without a hitch, Henry plays a crucial role in keeping Shambala as green and planet friendly as possible.
With a decade of event experience under his belt, Henry has worn many hats, from catering to artist liaison, site crew, stage tech and stage management. Outside of Shambala, he runs business fundraising for community projects, working with charities like the World Land Trust and White Ribbon Alliance.
It’s extremely important to Henry that he works in an industry that cares and sets a positive example for society, and his role at Shambala ticks both those boxes.
