Position Title: Non-Executive Director
Company: Kambe Events Ltd (Shambala Festival)
Location: Flexible (UK-based, with occasional travel to board meetings and events)
Commitment: Part-time (approximately 12 days annually)
Term: One year, with intent to extend
Compensation: Day rate – £300 (negotiable)

With ambitious plans, we seek a Non-Executive Director (NED) who embodies diversity of thought, commercial acumen, and creative cultural savvy, to provide strategic guidance and expertise.
Role Summary:
The Non-Executive Director will join the Board of Kambe Events to bring fresh perspectives, industry insights, and governance expertise. You will play a critical role in helping Kambe Events navigate risks, seize growth opportunities, and continue to lead in creative, sustainable event production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide independent, strategic advice and challenge to the executive team on key decisions.
- Contribute to effective governance on the board.
- Support the development and delivery of Kambe Events’ long-term vision, emphasising sustainability, inclusivity, and creativity.
- Bring expertise in risk management, helping the company identify and mitigate potential challenges.
- Actively promote diversity and inclusivity across Kambe Events’ leadership and operations.
- Serve as a thought leader, offering insights from your background and network to ensure fresh, innovative approaches to challenges.
- Attend quarterly board meetings and contribute to sub-committees or ad-hoc discussions as required.
